Nemco is committed to provide high quality tantalum capacitors and to making them readily accessible to all world markets with a strong emphasis on North American. Their sub-miniature, radial leaded dipped tantalum capacitors pioneered their position as one of the top companies in the tantalum capacitor community for volumetric efficiency and quality. They subsequently introduced the TB series of “State of the Art” radial dipped tantalums which was designed with all present day features such as small size, laser marking, and meniscus free leads eliminating thru hole plugging for improved solder connections and top side inspection.

In keeping with technological demands, Nemco introduced low profile capacitors for the growing PCMCIA market and LOW ESR (type LSR) devices for the rugged requirements of switch mode power supply applications where higher ripple current handling capabilities are needed. These new offerings when combined with their full range of standard, extended and super extended range values and recently added sizes 0402 and 0603 miniature surface mount devices provides the vehicle for continued support and growth in all markets well into the future. They are cognizant of the demands and changes in the market place and have taken action to eliminate lead and other substances of high concern in their electronic products. This is being done to reduce the environmental impact when such products are discarded. As early as January 2004, they have provided lead free RoHS compliant tantalum capacitors.
